The ACACIA Fraternity

With over 30 chapters and counting across the country, ACACIA is constantly improving in our mission of “preparing tomorrow’s leaders”. Our cutting edge membership program at the Penn State chapter is designed to develop your existing talents, giving you the tools & resources you need to impact your community and company following graduation. To do this, our organization brings together a diverse group of like-minded individuals and pairs them with our success driven undergraduate program to promote excellence in accountability, professional development, and service.

ACCOUNTABILITY
Our brothers highly value the idea of accountability through a culture of holding one another to the highest of standards. Specifically, we hold each other to a standard of academic excellence as we push each other to complete our own personal goals. By providing guidance to each other to help achieve personal success, we forge relationships within our chapter that you cannot find anywhere else.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Another important aspect of the Penn State chapter is our readiness to become leaders in the professional setting. Our chapter is comprised of entrepreneurs, avid investors in the financial markets, club leaders as well as experts in various fields. Members of our strong and successful alumni network are always willing to chat or connect us with others in their respective field.

SERVICE
At the Penn State chapter, we strongly value service as we are deeply passionate about our involvement in THON, a 46-hour dance marathon designed to raise money & awareness for pediatric cancer. Last year we raised $136,173.20 for the cause and had several dancers participate. In addition to THON, Acacia brothers participate in multiple volunteer opportunities throughout the year such as the Men Against Violence Walk, community clean-ups around State College, and volunteer through various clubs such as Life-Link. Upon graduation, each member of the chapter left their respective mark on the community in a unique fashion.
